Harish Iyer is an equal rights activist, a columnist and media influencer for a number of causes. He is best known for his campaigns for the rights of LGBT and survivors of child sexual abuse. In 2013, British daily ‘The Guardian’ named him as one of the 100 most influential LGBTIQ persons in the world. He is the only Indian national to ever find a mention in this list. He presently follows his passion for animal welfare and works as Director Strategic Partnerships at Humane Society International, India.
Dr. Manisha Gupte has been part of the women’s and health rights movements in India since the mid 1970s. She co-founded MASUM, a rural women’s organisation in 1987, after living in a drought prone rural area of Maharashtra state for five years, and has been its Co-Convenor since then. Manisha has participated in and has promoted campaigns related to reproductive, sexual and minority rights, and violence against women, over the past four decades.
Dr. Mahinder Watsa is a renowned sexologist, practicing as a sexual health consultant for the past 40 years. Presently he is the President of Council of Sex Education and Parenthood – International (CSEPI).. He contributes daily as the “sexpert” to the Times of India’s Mirror publications at Mumbai, Pune, Ahemdabad & Bangalore daily. Dr. Watsa is also Author of the book “It’s Normal” published by Penguin.
Dr. Harish Shetty is a Mental Health Professional with a special interest in Community Mental Health. He has worked extensively with the young. He has been a big inspiration for several mental health professionals, including counselors, across the country.
